Day 7

The following comments (anonymously) are from those who responded to the Day 6 Request for status on their pursuit personal revival. 

 

Day 6 Request on Status of your personal revival: 

 

Prayer: To spend 30 minutes a day with God for 21 Days…

 

Purity:  To keep your eyes and actions pure (not look at or touch another person’s private parts except your spouse) during this 21 Days of Personal Revival. 

 

Purpose: To bring one person to Christ during this 21 One Day Personal Revival—to actively share and pray for lost.

 

 

 

Reports from sojourners:

 

(1) We had a great 48 hours of prayer here on campus and the students are really getting fired up.

There are 35 guys meeting every night for prayer and another group of girls are doing the same somewhere on campus.

I met with campus student leaders last night for focused prayer and this morning for a time of fasting and prayer.  We have established every Wednesday am as our fast and prayer time which will expand as we see fit.

 

(2) Prayer

On the 2nd day of this revival I prayed- "God do something BIG because I dont know what to do"  (as far as preparation for internship for next semester Jan- May- with Center for Student Missions (CSM) 

 

Response

Well the next day the Cross Cultural Ministries Intern asked me to lead a missions trip to Toronto, Ontario

I live on a Christian Campus but I think this short term missions trip will usher many people into God's Kingdom of believers!!!!!

 


(3) In regards to reporting back in the three areas, I’m doing pretty awful.   

 

More and more I’m feeling like I’m missing good opportunities by not walking with God the way I need to be.  I  don’t want this next stage of life to look like this one has ended.  

                      Sorry for the discouraging report.  There’s a better one coming next week.   

 

I, Becky, am going to pray now, will you join me?  “Lord, each of us desires more of You.  Come near to us today.  Fill us with an extra measure of your Holy Spirit; send an immediate out-pouring of your Holy Spirit on our lives and on our families and campuses.  Remove the obstacles that keep us from being transparent and honest with You and others…so that we might have clean hearts that are pure and holy—and on fire!!!!  We ask for more of You today—allow us to feel the “gracious hand of Your favor” upon our lives.  In Jesus’ name we pray…Amen.”
